Overview
| Oversize Boring .010″. Many badly scored cylinders can be saved by oversized boring at substantial savings. CPS now has a stock of oversize bored cylinders in 0.010†over and a few in 0.020†over for 503 and 582 engines ready to be shipped. CPS can oversize bore, match pistons, and finish hone any Rotax cylinder. Our oversize cylinders are line bored only and are perfectly cylindrical to with in .001â€. If you want to trade your serviceable cylinders for our in stock units, just send them to us by UPS or other insurable traceable carrier. Mark outside of box “ exchange cylinders enclosed†so we may expedite your order. If you do not wish to wait for the exchange to take place, a core charge (see below) can be paid and subsequently refunded on the receipt of your serviceable cylinder. Cylinder must not be excessively rusted, have all fins intact, no broken studs, etc. CPS reserves the right to keep core fees if cylinders received are unserviceable. Contact your CPS Parts Pro at 510-357-2403 for more info. It is highly recommended that cylinders and pistons be of the same size bore for proper balance. CPS must receive your cores back in a timely fashion so we can have the items reworked and back on the shelf ready for the next customer, therefore core charges will be strictly enforced.
