| Designed in 2000, the ATIS-MINDER™ solved several issues for many pilots and those involved in regular use of the phonetic alphabet.
The ATIS-MINDER™ is primarily used by pilots to dial in the phonetic designator of the current, pre-recorded ATIS, thus relieving them of the problematic panic for a pen and notepad when their attention is in demand to safely fly their aircraft. As pilots, we all know what it’s like to strive to respond to the controllers in a professional manner. The ATIS-MINDER™ also serves as an excellent teaching tool for the student pilot preparing for their licensing criteria.
