VIRB Ultra 30 contains gyro-based motion sensors to detect camera movements and to help keep your shot steady, and electronic image stabilization¹ reduces camera shake and blur on bumpy flights. The VIRB Ultra 30 Aviation Bundle also includes a prop filter that helps remove the prop blur from your videos, and it features a headset audio cable so you can capture intercom cockpit chatter and ATC radio while flying. Plus, it’s Bluetooth-equipped, so it can connect directly to compatible hands-free headsets so you can narrate your videos. And with the GMA 350c and GMA 245 series of audio panels, you can capture intercom and ATC radio wirelessly and in high definition — without the need for the headset audio cable.

The free VIRB Mobile app not only lets you live-stream video footage — you can also use the app to view, edit and share videos that automatically highlight the best moments in your footage. Apply G-Metrix data overlays, and then share with friends on social media. VIRB® Edit desktop software offers an easy-to-use, feature-rich editing program that lets you auto-create videos, add music, trim video clips, incorporate transitions and perfect your video.

Control with Your Voice

You still need to operate your camera when it’s out of reach, mounted in the cockpit or when your hands are simply busy doing other things. That’s why VIRB Ultra 30 action camera features voice control6 using Sensory TrulyHandsfree™ technology. This even works when wired via the headset audio cable or while wirelessly connected via select compatible audio panels. Use simple commands such as “start recording” or “take a picture” to operate the camera hands-free. You can even tell VIRB Ultra 30 to “remember that,” and it will tag footage for you to easily recall later.
